Industrial scales at your hive sites, a tablet-friendly app at each weighing station, a cloud portal that ties it all together — and your own Google Sheet that updates as you work. No spreadsheets to glue together. No double entry. No paper.
Every feature was designed around how a real harvest day actually runs — sticky hands, gloves on, scales beeping, trucks loading.
Records only when the scale reports a live, stable reading above 1 kg. No double-counts, no “was that the right number?” — the scale decides when the weight is real.
An “in” station weighs the full super as it arrives; an “out” station weighs the empty super after extraction. HoneyTraq pairs the two and reports net honey per hive automatically.
Group every weighing under a load. Net per hive, totals per load, top and bottom performers — all visible the moment you finish weighing.
Every registered account gets its data pushed live to its own Google Sheet — view, share, and report exactly the way you already work. The portal also ships with extensive built-in reports — harvest summaries, per-hive breakdowns, run history and dashboards — so you can analyse without leaving the site.
No reception at the apiary? The app journals every weighing locally and resends them automatically once the connection is back. Nothing is lost.
The server allocates run numbers automatically when a new harvest starts, and stamps every reading. No more guessing which weighing belongs to which run.
Capture observations against a whole load or a single run — pest pressure, weather, quality flags — and they stay attached to the weighings forever.
Last harvest at a glance, top and bottom hives, year-over-year trends, per-terminal heartbeat — all in the portal, all from real weighings.
Plain-English questions over your own load, hive, and weighing history — “which apiary out-performed last season?” — answered from your data.
Two ways to tag a weighing — pick whichever fits the day.
Print one-off QR labels per (load, hive, box) from the portal — a single A4 sheet covers fifteen supers. Stick them on, and at every weighing station the operator just scans the QR and lifts. Load, hive and box numbers pre-fill automatically.
No labels yet? No problem. Tap the hive number on the on-screen keypad and lift. Box numbers auto-increment as you weigh, so the operator only types when the load or hive changes.
Four steps from sign-up to the first weighing on your live dashboard.
Sign up with your email and a password, confirm via the email we send, and you're in. Your own Google Sheet is provisioned automatically the first time data flows.
After signing in, grab the Windows installer from the portal Downloads page. Install it on the tablet or PC at each weighing station.
Industrial serial scales (Nuweigh CBH and similar) talk straight to the client. Pick the COM port, set the station as in or out, and you're live.
Scan the super's QR or tap the hive on the keypad — the live, stable weight goes straight to the cloud, the dashboard, and your sheet.
A short walkthrough of the desktop client at a real weighing station — scanning a super, lifting, watching the weight land in the portal and the Google Sheet at the same time.
